The Guyra branch of the Agricultural Bureau met at the Shire Chambers on Thursday night the 16th with about 13 members and 9 visitors present. Mr Wim Youmma presided. Mr C J Magee agrostologist from Sydney visited several farms and discussed potato diseases. A full report will follow next issue. The committee set meetings for January 25 and February 27 to plan activities. three new members were elected. Mr G T Dawson spoke of seed plats and experiments with fertilizers and pasture work. A vote of thanks was given to Mr Magee and Mr Dawson for their visits.
