Armidale and New England Show Set for March 7 to 9
Final arrangements for the Armidale and New England district show are nearly complete for Thursday to Saturday March 7 8 and 9. The official opening is at 12 30 pm on Friday by Colin Sinclair President Royal Agricultural Society. A continuous ring program covers hack galloway pony jumping trotting rodeo and sport events with numerous sections judged across the three days.

Red Cross Branch Plans Summer Functions At Guyra
A Guyra Red Cross meeting decided to replace street stalls with social functions in June July and August with an inaugural evening event at the Golf Club hosted by Mrs Cameron and organized delegations for the May Conference. The group also set a street stall helper roster and reported results from the Saturday stall auction and a December January February financial summary showing receipts and a bank balance of 103 pounds 5 shillings 6 pence.
