Fifteenth Annual Guyra Show Opens Under Auspices
The Fifteenth Annual Guyra Show, under the auspices of the Guyra Association, opened Tuesday and closed yesterday. The event, planned as the sixteenth show, was delayed last year by influenza and drought. Exhibits from Glen Innes Experiment Farm and local farms showcased oats, barley, wheat, apples, pears, potatoes, and other produce amid improvements like a new trotting track and extended yards. Weather was fine with a light easterly wind, though ground conditions remain soft requiring watering for equestrian events.
