Valedictory last Tuesday afternoon honored Mr J F Scanlon who retires from Tattersall's Heel after fifteen years of local service. The meeting, presided by A A Brown J P, included eulogies from Dr Vol Crean AP C President of Guyra Shire, J B K Phelan Shire Clerk, and others who praised his public spirit and business integrity. Applause greeted wishes for happiness and success in his new home and a presentation donation was noted.
