A nine year old girl, daughter of Mr and Mrs D J Bell of North Brook Guyra, was hit in the leg by a pea rifle bullet from a distant shooting gallery while boarding a Ferris Wheel. The wound was not serious and she recovered at home. The Ferris Wheel owner Mr Mackey offered to cover all expenses.
St Leon's Circus and Performing Wild Animals features Alrikander Meedin's troupe with lions tigers leopards and more. The show draws large crowds with acrobatics and daring acts led by Captain Lindo the trainer, delivering high excitement and jungle drama.
George Soria's Musical and Dramatic Players headline Guyra during Carnival Week with a strong repertoire. Club funds will be allocated to a local cause.
