Armidale Cattle Sales Commission Raised to 34 Percent
Armidale stock and station agents announce a new 34 percent commission on cattle sales, up from 24 percent, to cover rising costs and pay outside agents who bring buyers. The change, effective January 24, 1947, includes a sixpence per head advertisement charge and ends rebates to outside buyers introducers after years of practice.
