He cited a 450 acre Uralla trial where 2 1/2 acres of rye, cockafoot and phalaris supported 400 sheep during drought, with better condition for weaker stock after grazing one day weekly.
The superintendent and staff organized a basket picnic for pupils and friends on November 19 in the park opposite Mr A A Browns residence. Treasure hunts games and tea followed by races for sweets.
