The Guyra P A H Association held its monthly committee meeting on a Saturday. President A W Everett presided as minutes from October were read and confirmed. The group discussed training use of the show ground by the Guyra Cycle Club and access logistics. They agreed to allow Wednesday trainings if the club caretaker’s keys are secured and grounds locked. A letter from the Australian Showmen's Guild was reviewed. nothing can be done this year, with cooperation planned for next show if other societies align. Accounts were presented with a treasurer report showing a credit balance of £5 8s 0d. The motor car committee report was to be discussed. Arrangements were approved for a special Armidale to Guyra train for the annual show. The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday 24 December at 10 am.

Excursion Trains to Sydney Announced by Railway Dept
The Railway Department unveils cheap excursion trains to Sydney this month from all parts of the State. Single fare for a return double journey starts at 9d first class and 10d second class, valid for return within 42 days. Local details for this district are arranged. Serious Charge In Glen Innes Court Involves Reed And Ehrenberg
Laban Reed 22 and Ehrenberg 20 faced Glen Innes Police Court on charges connected to a serious offence alleged November 1 involving Edith Ehrenberg. Keelan 19 was charged with assaulting Edith Ehrenberg and with intent to commit a serious offence. Reed was committed to Armidale Supreme Court for trial on April 26 1928 after bail was set.
