Cardinal Moran died suddenly Tuesday night at the Manly palace. Found in his sleeping apartment next morning, investigators say a nocturnal seizure caused a collapse as he slipped from bed. He was 61. No one was with him at the time.

The spring tempered steel key is a marked improvement over the old design and requires no peculiarities. Illumination and 105 Sovereigns Given in Glen Innes

On Thursday night Mr Jno Priest received an illuminated purse of 105 sovereigns before leaving Glen Innes. A district-wide attendance witnessed the event with Mr P P Abbott present. Priest departed for Sydney on Friday. Also that Friday Mr Chea Bull of Glenfield reported a valuable cattle dog bitten by a snake. the dog quickly became paralysed and a frisa fly bullet was requisitioned.
