A large local procession led by the Guyra Band gathered at the Memo rial Institute for the ANZAC Day ceremony, with wreaths laid on the Honour Roll and a service in the Arcadia Theatre. Speakers praised the Anzacs and urged postwar reconstruction and remembrance of veterans, including those in New Guinea.
