Two applications to build were approved on the building inspector Mr Akin guidance. One covered a three room weatherboard cottage for Mr F G White Outer Bald Blair and the other a shed at the rear of a dwelling owned by Mr E Lockyer Ollera Street. An inspection of Guyra Tingha conditions found general compliance with improvements directed where needed. Sanitary facilities and backyards were addressed with minor repairs required for a Hardinge Street shop and two horse impounds noted in the pound yard. Three scarlet fever cases were reported during the month.
