Shags Threaten Young Trout in District Streams
The meeting chaired by Mr George Adamson heard that many young trout in Ollera Creek are being eaten by large flocks of shags. Members planned a gunmen party next weekend to destroy the birds and protect stocking efforts. The group also asked the Fisheries Department to close Sandy Creek to fishing next season to aid growth.
