Unusual sky spectacle delights Guyra residents
Residents of Guyra and district watched a tinted display in the southern sky on Thursday night. Rumors and guesses swirled about its origin as reports varied from a large fire to atmospheric reflections from polar snow caps. The sky flashed red, silver, and deep blue with long parallel light streaks, a rare phenomenon likely caused by sun rays reflecting off polar snow.
