Brockley Sports Carnival Ended Amid Rainy Weather
Unfavorable weather marred the Brockley Sports Carnival held last Saturday to benefit the Guyra District War Memorial Hospital Fund and Armidale District Ambulance. Despite lighter attendance, horse event entries were strong and prizes awarded including a saddle for top novelty points won by Mr. Stan Schaefer. Donations and stalls boosted totals. about £60 will be split between the two charities with further gifts noted from local supporters.

In a striking district clash Falconer toppled league leader Llangothlin. Falconer posted 193 while Llangothlin managed 26, with Reg Campbell and Bob Hill adding 125 for the first wicket.
