The Grenfell Agricultural Society held the annual plowing match on Tuesday June 14 with fewer entries than usual. Winners included J Whiteley and C Bishop in several classes, and Mr Jobateley excelled in expert work. A large crowd attended and a hearty dinner was served by Mrs Wood and Mrs McKensie to competitors and judges.

Waterley Triumph In First League Cricket Match

The opening league cricket match between Waterley and Grenfell at Waterley ended Waterley 120 for 4. Theobald 2 and Villar 22 led Waterley while De Biot 20 and Walshe 13 top-scored for Grenfell. Waterley then traveled to Indian Head for the return league game.
