Pony ride home from Sydney to Young by Miss C Cooper
Miss C Cooper formerly of Sydney now of Currawong Street Young rode her pony home from Sydney arriving in Young on 20 November after travelling via Liverpool and Yarra. Her longest stop was four days at Yarra during heavy rain. The pony arrived in good condition reflecting careful ownership.

Edward Weaver and Company Forbes Farmers and Grazieres Coop Ltd Sydney report a store sheep sale at Forbes on Tuesday with about 000 store sheep weighed and total value around 0. Prime woolly lambs sold dearer by 2 to dy, woolly lambs 1/ to 1/4 higher, ewes and wethers 1/ dearer. Prices ranged prime woolly lambs 15/4 to 22/1, trade lambs 10/ to 14, prime shorn wethers 1/ to 1643, trade wethers 9/4 to 12/10, ewes 7/7 to 11/18, crossbred hoggets 15/ to 20. Store sheep yarded sparingly with Crossbred ewes two-tooth 18/8 to 20, crossbred wethers two-tooth 12/0 to 10/10, merino ewes six years 9/11 to 11/6.
