Boundary Valley Lodge I O C F installed its officers last Tuesday night with D D G M W M Law presiding and a staff of past grands from Grand Forks Greenwood and other lodges. A large turnout included many visitors and several Grand Forks representatives listed among attendees.
The Similkameen district shows growing interest from外side milling operators as development expands on the Nickle Plate group near Camp Hedley. Plans for a revived Vancouver Victoria and Eastern line and provincial federal support could unlock vast mineral and coal resources and spur new settlement. The district hosts Copper Mountain and Tulameen area camps with high grade copper and arsenical iron ore and a 1500 foot expansion on Nickle Plate, driving hopes for rail access and regional production.
