Argentine meat exports rise despite shipping limits says report
London reports by the Director-General of National Statistics to the Finance Minister show Argentina’s meat shipments rising in 1916 and 1917 after steady exports 1911–1915. 1916 tallied 32 percent higher than 1915 and 1917 added 14,488 tons. Prices to producers remained flat, though external prices and government sales affected margins.
