Northam Council Debates Loans and Staff Moves
The Northam Municipal Council met with Mayor Byfield and nine councillors. They discussed renewing a £2009 loan, authorising a new £2000 loan at 6 percent for ten years, and keeping terms at five years may be preferred. A new acting town clerk, staff transfers, and park staffing were approved. The council also addressed health matters, including school disinfection costs and letters from Dr Atkinson on cleanliness and prior disinfecting actions at Central School.
