The Commonwealth Treasurer forwards interest warrants totaling £3,000,000 to investors in War Loans and appeals for further funds to equip pay and feed troops. Citizens can buy War Ratings Certificates from £1 to £1,900 and lend the interest back as a gilt edged investment with 4 1/4 percent compound interest free of state taxes. Applications available at banks State Savings Banks and Money Order Offices.
