Funeral of Mrs Lucy Minchin of West Swan
The funeral of the late Mrs Lucy Minchin relict of Alfred Minchin of West Swan took place on the 3rd inst. She was born in Perth in 1833, daughter of William Martin of Northam who came to the colony in 1830. Her husband arrived in 1829, they married in 1850 at Upper Swan Church, and left eight sons and two daughters, with 42 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren surviving.

Notice to Creditors in Lane Estate
Supreme Court of Western Australia notice calls all creditors and claimants in the estate of Samuel Landon Lane, late of Toodyay, died around September 1619. Claims must be sent by December 1, 1919, after which assets will be distributed. Curator Gervase Clifton warns he distributes only notified claims and is not liable for distributed assets.

Promissory Note Claim Opens in Boulder Local Court
In Thos Hearne v Bartlett Day the Boulder Local Court heard a promissory note claim. The case began last October with the plaintiff non suited for lacking presentation at the footnote Bank. appeal followed to the Full Court, which sent it back for rehearing with costs. The current adjournment spans two months, with Day agreeing to pay the amount and costs. £15 lodged in court remains as security.
