Editorial notes on Crow's Nest Pass railway politics
The piece discusses opposition to CPR involvement in the Crow's Nest Pass railway plan, with hints of government aid disputes and a likely shift to a BC Southern route. It notes proposed East Kootenay Railway Company charter plans, calls for restraint on MP passes, and endorses 1898 construction prospects under terms favorable to BC interests and federal support.
