Christmas Day in the small community was quiet until evening when about fifteen to twenty guests gathered at the C P R building to enjoy music and singing. Mr J Newitt played the phonograph while dancers, led by Messrs McKenzie and Deano, Mrs Williamson, and Mr T Watson, performed the Highland Schottisch. A light repast followed and Mr Tomlinson spoke as chair, leaving guests grateful to their amiable hostess for a thoroughly pleasant gathering.

Ullock defeated Parson 13 to 6, McNvish beat Henderson 13 to 10, Wiaren 10, Dainard 11, Robertson 7, Lamontiugne 11 in the day’s results. A close U C N T game saw Ullock edge Lamontagne 12 to 10 in the final end after a late guard challenge.
