The synod of New Westminster resolves to divide the diocese and establish the diocese of Kootenay east of the 20th meridian. Clergy and lay delegates from Kootenay will meet at St Saviour Nelson on May 30 1900 at 10 am to ratify the agreement and organize the synod.
