Wool trade outlook urged at Winchcombe Carson meeting
At the annual meeting in Sydney on September 21 Mr Harold Bell, chairman of Winchcombe Carson Ltd, argued that wartime and postwar demand for wool, meat, and wheat would support Australian producers. He stressed water conservation, improved feeding, and the need to compete with synthetics while expanding exports to France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, China, and Russia.
