At Wie Wun Wee Police Court Industrial Magistrate Reed heard Taylor against J A Soules over a 2 pounds 5 shillings 9 pence wager for beard and lodging. Commissioner upheld appeal remitting to magistrate. Industrial case awarded 17 pounds 18 shillings 4 pence in Taylor’s favor with costs. Lodging suit decided for £7 6s 0d with witnesses’ expenses.
