Laurie J G of Gloucester Pioneer Succumbs in Durham

Mr J G Laurie longtime resident of Gloucester died after a period of poor health on Sunday night near Durham. He was aged and survived by wife Mina Mary Wellard and children Sandy Ted and Mrs W McQueen. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Gloucester with burial in Gloucester Cemetery conducted by Rev G McLean. Predeceased by siblings including Tack and by parents, he was a pioneer with ties to Haw dun Vain and Rawdon Vela.
