Riding For Fall: New England movement urges decentralisation
Mr P A Wright, president of the New England New State Movement, told the movement's fifth convention that Australia risks economic collapse unless country people and migrants are kept out of cities. He cited Sydney milk shortages, power outages, transport chaos, port and rail bottlenecks as signs of an uneconomic system and urged capital investment to develop regional resources with new government centers in New England and Riverina.
