Mid North Coast CWA Conference at Gloucester
The Mid North Coast Group of the Country Women's Association met in Gloucester on October 18 with executives and delegates from Bellingen Wingham Wauchope Kempsey Dungog Stroud Raleigh Repton Ballahdelah and other branches. Officials discussed land for a rest home at Nambucca Heads a 99 year lease option and a proposed sale of land. The meeting welcomed State President Mrs MacSmith pending attendance and heard reports on branch growth Bowraville openings and leadership, plus UNRRA clothing, cake schemes, and Younger Sets.
