Poultry Club Re-forms at Gloucester Arts School Meeting
The Gloucester District Poultry Club was re-formed at a lively meeting in the School of Arts last night with past and new members. Officers elected include Patrons FRL Higging and L Davenport, President Mr Jones, Vice Presidents H Jory and S Martin, Secretary Mr L Irwin, Treasurer Mr W Druhan, and a full committee. The group plans a first postwar show next year, aiming to surpass prewar events, but issues with the coop at the Gloucester Showground hinder the immediate display. The club will work with the A H and P Association to repair and remodel the coop, and may enter standard and utility classes. further discussions will align rules, finances, and governance for the new term.
