Passing of Mrs Middlebrook Stirs Needlework Community
Mrs Middlebrook died September 18 after a long career in needlework education. As president of the Needlework Association and member of the Salaries Committee Hospital Relief Society and Combined Women Teachers Association she shaped training for current and future teachers. Her work at Darlington Practice School and later education service across Cessnock Dulwich Hill and Junee Reefs left a lasting impact on students and colleagues believed irreplaceable.
