A troubled boy known as the bad boy of D continues causing mischief. He taunts Bill, falls into a water hole, and terrorizes neighbors with cruel pranks. A nervous man and his wife endure a night scare when a water filled hat bursts on the doorstep.

An illustrated advertisement lists fabrics and garments with prices and qualities. 38 inch ginghams, white twill sheeting, striped shirting for boys, ranger shirts, mercerised tennis shirts, cotton tweed trousers, striped ticking for blinds, and heavy white duck for outside blinds are offered as cheap, with notes on fast colors and value.

Stale suds scene hints at a haunting tale
