On Saturday 6th November the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland held their last contest for the present year a petrol consumption test. A record 48 competitors took part with European and American cars divided into three classes. The Essex and Hudson cars showed strong results, with Hudson’s 4,000 mile reliability trial and 1924 annual mileage award noted.
