Country Press Delegates Visit Dodge Works Ashfield

Over 250 country press delegates toured Dodge Motor Works Ashfield on 22 October. They viewed chassis assembly and finished Dodge Brothers and Graham Brothers vehicles, toured with 100 plus workers, and were hosted to a luncheon. Mr Kloster urged fair dealing and discussed tariffs, noting England assembled cars enjoy tariff preference, while Australian assembly faces 42 percent duty. The visit showcased factory grounds and worker welfare. A Durham bull sold for 250 guineas to Roy McCaughey of Narandera was part of separate cattle news.
