Empire Day Celebration in Gloucester Schools
Gloucester schools marked Empire Day with student performances led by St. Joseph's Convent children. Mr H. T. Shepherd urged pupils toward future citizenship roles while readings, poems, and songs highlighted the Empire. A public address system aided the program, followed by a picnic lunch and Empire Day sports at Gloucester Park.
