Doles to Jack's Lane electrification nears completion despite wet weather. Transformer deliveries delayed due to industrial trouble with the supplier, with new June delivery targeted. A 20 hp motor at a mill causes daytime power interruptions in Barrin Street, prompting a planned transformer on the southern Barrin Street platform and use of standby transformers to mitigate storms. The Engineer was authorized to expedite delivery of a standby 200 KVA transformer ordered August 20 for summer reliability.
