Life in Nazi Camp Report From Austrian Returnees

Austrian Nazis returned from Bavaria tell of a brutal camp life in which five men from Vienna endured five months in a Nazi camp after fleeing across Passau. They describe forced stone blasting with no training or safety, rude replies to safety concerns, and harsh punishment for Nazi dissent. Food was scarce and surveillance pervasive. Churches were replaced by Hitler praise, reading material was censored, and illnesses were met with castor oil in peasant homes.
