Orange impounding yields for Molong buyers and losses
Six horses strayed in Orange were impounded at Molong. Five were auctioned with a total of 4/9. The sixth died. Costs and fees left a deficit of £4/16/3, which Molong asked Orange to pay. Orange refused. Miranda Co operative Society reports six months to 31 December 1929 with sales of £38,404 and reserves of £3,247. Marketing Board increases honey prices in February amid mixed NSW and SA production.
