Refund of surplus by Australian Stabilisation Committee
The Australian Stabilisation Committee discusses refunding the surplus from the 1827 levy on butter supplies. Trustees return funds to original suppliers through factory boards, with seven sixteenths of a penny per pound rebated. Some overages were misallocated by factory directors, but the committee again authorizes the equitable rebate to dairy farmers.
