Gloucester Golf Club annual meeting report 1935 36
The Gloucester Golf Club held its annual meeting with Dr. Anderson presiding. Membership reached 95, the highest in club history, and the season saw improved competition entries and a new permanent greenkeeper. The dam needs further work, costs were high, and a future revision of drainage and course facilities was noted. The King's Birthday tournament and district championships were successful, with wins by Hardy of Wingham and Mrs. Yates. The club earned profits from the Associates Open Day and hosted visiting professionals M L Kelly and Howard who advised on course improvements reducing par to 70.
