Wages Tax Collection Under 1933 34 Amendment Act
Employers must deduct Wages Tax from employees starting December 1 1933. The act defines employees broadly and requires an Employer's Schedule, tax remittance or stamps, and annual remittance. Larger employers must use Remittance Books, with details for branches and home domestic employees. The note ends with mention of Church House demolition in Westminster scheduled for August 1.
