Wanderers Fail to Travel Forfeit As Stroud Clash Draws

Bishop Dwyer to resign announced at church foundation
At Bowna near Albury during the foundation ceremony for the new Roman Catholic Church Bishop J W Dwyer of Wagga announced his ill health and resignation request to the pope. He urged strong religious schooling to combat pagan influence and noted the Bowna church costs 1700 pounds as the old township was flooded by the Hume reservoir. He also laid the foundation stone of St Joseph's Convent at a locale named aloucester.

TUGRABAKH RAB BIT SUPPRESSION GROUP MEETS
A meeting of the Tugrabakh Rab Bit Suppression Group was held at the residence of Mr J Hy sma om on Tuesday June 19. Views on the special effort were satisfactory with no complaints about owners failing to cooperate. The group will continue on the same lines until Bast August when the position will be reviewed. The discussion again covered Mograni Creek holdings and owners were urged to join to boost effect. J H Smith and H Maddle were appointed delegates to attend the next Gloucestershire Board meeting on the rabbit question.
