Poultry Club Show Delivers Strong Gloucester Display
The Gloucester Poultry Club’s second annual show on the Showground drew large entries and high quality, with keen class competition. Judges McKitrick and Cullard, aided by Beggs, praised the strong lines across game, Plymouth Rocks, Leghorns, Wyandottes, and Rhode Island Reds, and lauded Junior Farmers and poultry’s farming value as an industry. The event was officially opened by Shire President J. Higgins, who praised the district’s breeding and export potential despite lower attendance.
