Glove Branch Red Cross Holds Annual Meeting 1937 38
The Glove Branch of the Red Cross Society held its annual meeting on Tuesday July 19 at the School of Arts Hall with Mrs A J White presiding. The lengthy report cited seven meetings, 29 members, clothing parcels sent, and appeals for new members while noting departures from the district and thanks to Mrs J R Higgins for four years of presidency.
