STAR TALKIES AT THE NEAR THEATRE SHOWS
Stars and films dominate a page of cinema notes from Star Talkies. Robert Montgomery speaks on wardrobe needs for The Man in Possession while Sam Wood directs. The crew includes Trene Purcell and Mac gomery in a witty British tale with Aubrey Sulit and Beryl Mercer in supporting roles. Also featured is Everything’s Rosie a Radio Pictures comedy starring Robert Woolsey with Anita Louise John Darrow and more in a light vaudeville style auction caper. The N.R.M.A argues for road user paying to fix roads and questions why non motorized transport should avoid taxation, urging rational steps.
