Library Club Year Earns Service, Not Profit
Mr. Hawdon moved adoption of the report and balance sheet noting a satisfactory year. The aim was to serve the public rather than accumulate profits. Library subscription was low, cheaper than elsewhere in the state, with a good book selection. The club room was satisfactory and many young people attended.
