Sambo the Aboriginal Killer Seeks Escape on Cape York
A report from Brisbane relays that Sambo, an aboriginal man accused of killing two men and cannibalizing portions of their bodies, escaped from Palm Island off North Queensland. He impishly boasted of his deeds as police and Indigenous communities react to his large-scale flight toward the mainland, with a 500 mile trek to Cape Grenville before recapture. Also noted is a £70,000 Mt. Morgan mine reopening by a Crawford led syndicate aiming to form a new company to operate the mine.
