The Association Secretary C L Fraser reports Gloucester Reds top the A grade, while Stratford leads a tight B grade. Gloucester Blues beat Reds for an outright win after Reds were bowled out for 27. Blues 121 first innings with strong bats including Bill Atkins. Stratford defeated Gloucester in B grade, Piper's Flat beat Gloucester 2 by 12 mins, Bowman Farm routed Stroud by 70 runs. Serious accident injures mail train driver near Taree

Driver Robson aged 42 of Taree suffered a severe accident while driving the Kempsey mail from Taree at 4.50. While washing his hands with soap his grip failed and he fell from the engine. A carriage passed over his foot, part of which was severed. He was carried to Taree's M.R.D. Hospital and on Monday the remaining foot portion was amputated. He is married with two children and is recovering. Driver Norther of Taree was on the train at the time.
