Typhoid Mary Mary Mallon dies at seventy after exile
Mary Mallon known as Typhoid Mary died at seventy after years in exile on an East River island. She was labeled Typhoid carrier No 36 by New York City Health Department records. The typhoid outbreaks began in 1900s across New York State and were traced to her as a cook despite her apparent health. Authorities pressed for operation and isolation, she resisted, and later outbreaks in New Jersey and New York led to hospital detentions and further investigations.

Vapor Lock Strikes Cars in Hot Weather
The engineering chief Mr Fielder explains high heat raises engine temperature and causes highly volatile petrol to vaporize before reaching the petrol pump. Engines starve for fuel, risking battery drain if cranked. Let the engine cool and aid cooling by lifting the hood to draw in cool air.

Men of the Stuart Morgan troupe stage a wild circus audition
A narrator joins the Stuart Morgan company in a London theatre trouping tale. Powerful men, a beautiful Lita D Oray, and a dramatic demo end with a dizzying misadventure as the theatre spins and a miscast throw is deemed safe. The scene blends showmanship with slapstick danger.
