Imperfectly Known Manuscripts and Edi tions 1867 Tischendorf
The text notes that two early gospel authorities differ from Codex Alexandrinus and each other. They form a shorter text omitting Mark ending twelve verses and key episodes, with briefer versions of the Lord's Prayer and Bethesda. Together they embody what Westcott and Hort call a Neutral text shaping revisions to the Revised Version.

Cricket continues to fade as district match yields little play
The cricket season faltered with only one match played amid fair weather. Forfeits and travel woes kept teams away as Ree deavours failed to reach Whierdl’s River and Stratford, Rockhurst, and other venues faced disjointed play. Batting by Esston, Oldfield, Merchant, and Webeck produced a low total of 156, while Smith led the bowlers in damp conditions. Separately, pawnshops in Central London fell to 36 closures over four years, and Paris’s talking clock earned £25,000 from 4,000,000 users in a year.
